Moria - Final draft by dark-illusion Moria - Final draft by dark-illusion
Ok this will be my final draft, my next submission will be final, so voice ur opinion now =) (Smile)
ok i still dont know what to make with the opening there
i've added flames to the dorr rims hehe
and added a sorta ghostly image of the ppl in the movie as they're passing thorugh here, hopefully it will give a better sense of size and contrast
also the slight blur is not a PS, its sth that was done to "try" to add to the atmosphere....still dunno if it works
comments and suggestions appreciated

Yeah really nice pic, could be 1024x786! but the textures and all round atmosphere are really good. I agree about the shadows being needed tho. Nice job :) (Smile)

Forgive me if I repeat something that has already been said, but I didn't have time to read the comments on this.

First thing I'd do is to add some shadow (just slight) on the floor of those pillars. The whole thing seems a bit fuzzy looking to me and I'd also show some seperation of the pillars with a slight highlighted edge on the right side of the pillars on the left and on the left side of the pillars on the right (would also make them look more 3d if you did that)

Over all - very creepy and very cool Thumbs Up

Read some of these comments - I have to agree with lord zany about the pillars not on the floow - shadows would really help that, and nick suggested a different pov - go for it - I have my own to add, I know you have worked tirelessly on the texture work on the pillars, but they look a little odd to me still, it appears you have a different texture on each pillar, rather than a variation of textures on each pillar - I am thinking more each pillar could be pretty much alike, but the texture for one pillar ahve more variation, although all that said, it would mean the same goes for all the piece :o (Eek) - perhaps go with what you have. The ghostly figures are a really good indication of height - much higher than I first expected.

Coming on leaps mate, well done.

also i forgot to say, to make it look "bigger" lower the Point Of View to that of equivalent eye level of the people. ;) (Wink)

super! only points for improvment are the bases and shadows of the pillars and a few depth of field messabouts and colour overlays. but it is looking awesome thanks for the devwatch too. i'll take a look through the rest of your devs soon
